Activities for Improving Education Quality

Class evaluation by students and teaching staff

To confirm the depth of understanding of students and to improve educational content and methods, AIIT conducts a class evaluation survey of students. Teaching staff use the survey results to create action plans to improve the classes.

Mutual verification of classes by teaching staff

All lectures are recorded on video to construct a system where teaching staff can mutually review the lectures for reference. This helps improve the class content and methods.

FD Forum

As an initiative to improve class content and methods for teaching staff, an FD Forum is held periodically.
At the FD Forum, outside experts are invited to speak and members of the Management Advisory Council join in a discussion session.

Four professors from AIIT who won the Best Professor of the Year in recent years talked about their ingenious attempts and particular efforts for teaching at the FD Forum. In the end, the entire teaching staff exchanged opinions.

FD Reports

The AIIT FD Report is published twice annually to share the results of class evaluation surveys by students, information on the FD Forum, and other FD activities, which are distributed to teaching staff, students, and related external institutions. By sharing information about AIIT's FD activities to increase the recognition of FD, it helps enhance the education offered at AIIT.
