Management Advisory Council has been established to promote close collaboration with the business community.

The Management Advisory Council (the Council) has been established at the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology (AIIT) to reflect the needs of the business community in AIIT's education and to provide effective education and research in collaboration with the business community. The Council consists mainly of specialists and experts from outside AIIT and business managers from the industrial sectors for which AIIT focuses on the development of advanced professionals. The Council makes recommendations on a broad array of issues concerning AIIT's education system, such as the appropriateness of curricula as viewed from the perspective of the business community, career paths for graduates, training programs for faculty members, and the joint development of themes for Project-Based Learning (PBL) programs. In addition, the Council offers ideas or reviews the feasibility of collaborative actions regarding joint research projects using AIIT's Open Institute (OPI) and social action programs in collaboration with local governments. The Council's recommendations are appropriately reflected in the development of the education and research programs that would best meet the needs of the business community, as well as in the administration and operation of AIIT.
